Battery racks FFR

G/Day, does anybody know the secret to removing the coating on the battery racks, I think it is a plastic coating. I am going to try to soak them in petrol, unless someone has a better idea. Maybe paint stripper? My sand blaster would need to be a lot larger to accomplish this job. have been trying with a wire wheel on a drill, chisel and scrapper, very little progress. I may have try the local powder coater, he has a good sand blaster. Would rather do it myself though, cheers for any help, Grant

They are coated with Plasticoat or similar to protect them from battery acid
Nothing will touch them except maybe heat I suspect.
I had the same issue with mine and eventually recoated the parts I had managed to get off.
Not much help but you are not alone!
