Manifold Nuts @ Masters

I spotted these at Masters some time back but with the closing sale they are now much cheaper.

Brass, double height, BSF (!) manifold nuts. You'll find them in the 'Fastening aisle' in the drawers. Currently 40% off fasteners. One nut was now $1.20 which isn't cheap but BSF is getting harder to find.
They have 1/4" & 5/16" BSF and also UNF versions........

So, which size would I need for my 1971 IIA 2.25 litre petrol engine ? and are they same for inlet and outlet ? presumably 16 of them are required - true ?
