Hi all, just wondering what you guys have done that have needed to replace that little kinked heater hose that runs feom the pump to one of the pipes?

Had no luck sourcing one except for motospecs inwhich will set me back $115 :o

Have you got a pic or a part number. From memory I think it's just a hose that is the same diameter both ends.

Its the only hose which i couldn't use typical straight hose on and unfortunately its the one with the actual hole in it.

I spent 12 years in the parts industry and i swear this is the dearest heater hose especially for its size on the planet. Im wondering if there will be bling under the bonnet soon due to it been gold plated

I agree, that price is ridiculous. How urgent do you need it. I am sure I have a spare new one of those here somewhere. Might take me a day or so to find it but it's yours for the cost of postage if you want it, which would only cost $15 max in an express bag. Cheers... Brian

Well I had a bit of a dig around this morning and found that pipe (AYG2867) is the part number. Can't see why you can't use a bit of straight heater hose on it though. The bend is nothing much at all. Get in touch by PM if you want this one.......Brian

Thanks for that very generous offer Bearman :)
though the wife did tell me to order the hose since it needed it.
I'll be keeping the old one so in my travels i may be able to match something up in a larger town.

I did try a bit of straight hose but wasn't happy as i couldn't get it to not rub on stuff in that semi tight area
