Which coolant for TD6

I had a look on Penrites web site and they recomment the Green HOAT ( hybrid organic acid coolant ) Green colour.
Nulon however recommends the OAT ( Organic acid technology) Red coolant.
I was at super cheap picking up my bulk oil and noticed they only really carried the Nulon range and their in house cheap brand.
One of the staff members asked me it I needed a hand, I mentioned to her I was googling my specs for coolant and she replied I only need to know if it was red or green . So what is the correct coolant?

Well the red stuff does leave more obvious marks when (not if!) it finds a way to leak out. I would prefer to use a Penrite recommendation than that of a checkout chick at Super Crap. My mate's highly modified P76 engine turned into a pink sprinkler with the Nulon stuff, the green long life Penrite coolant that replaced it is doing much better.

Mario i ONLY use the BMW blue coolant.

As previously mentioned the original coolant is blue and is a bmw coolant. Nulon do a blue coolant which is suppose to be a replacement for blue bmw coolant.

I have flushed mine a few times now and put the Nulon blue in it.

bought it at supercrud when they have their big sales.

Tad worried as I'm on my original radiator still and at 310k.

Mine has the Nulon blue in it.

If you read well into the fine print there is a difference between the same colour across different brands.

Use the factory coolant IMO. Last time I did mine, I tried different, but the coolant sensor measures specific gravity as well, so I ended up with fault codes being thrown, so I changed it out for the factory stuff.

The factory coolant isn't that expensive - I think I paid $90 for the concentrate that was enough to do the whole lot, then a couple of bottles of deminerilsed water.

The engine and radiator is too much to risk IMO a to try and save $10 or $20 IMO.
