Hi there
I did a search but couldn't find anything specific about this odd symptom
When I start in the morning , I let the car idle for 10-20 seconds before engaging reverse
If I don't , sometimes it takes a few seconds and a few revs to take up drive
Not always
Sometimes its fine :)
Now I have had a full flush and service( new filters , full flush ) done at A and B back in Feb and they said the auto was brilliant
No shudder , good fluid pressure , etc , etc
It's not really a problem and the auto changes and locks up excellently still
Have towed etc, done some off road work ( nothing major) and no probs
Very , very occasionally if I reverse out and grab D straight off , there is a delay in engaging but I just put one foot on the brake accelerate a bit and away we go
So, the auto behaves brilliantly except very , very occasionally I get this odd symptom
I did read something about cotton threads ????
Any ideas?
I am not far from Thomastown but happy to try Manuel Autos ( clever name , that:) )
Regards
Pete
