Interesting you should post this. We were travelling through Namibia recently on a safari trip and we pulled into a service station in a tiny town called Uis and there were a few landies around. This one was there filling up and I spoke to the guy and he said there was a gathering of over 120 or more Landrovers in town for the weekend. The series 1 was the oldest running vehicle there and he had won a prize.
We left the town in a short time so I didn't get a chance to find out any more.

Although Toyotas were the king, there were a lot of discos and defers around. When I get some time I will do post on some of the landies we saw.
Cheers,
Russ

Know exactly whom you met there - an architect from Windhoek: has the Heritage towing his Series.

Thanks for posting the photos.
