I thought it was hereditary.

You get it from your children. :)

I thought it was the result of marriage. No kids but grey appeared within a few milli seconds of say those two fatal words .

Speaking from an engineering point of view, if you graph/plot months or years on one axis and haircuts on the other axis... the culprit is right before your eyes, i.e., as the number of haircuts accumulates, the greyer the hair becomes. Therefore I suspect the scissors have a toxic coating. I have applied for a government grant to further my studies and hope to be on A Currant Affair one day to reveal the coverup. Have you ever noticed all the barbers sit you down and what do they do first? They cover you up to minimise (as much as practicable) the amount of mystery scissor coating that gets on your clothing. Its a conspiracy I tell you. :)

There is a valid argument as to why I should have remained single and feral.

My barber is asian, so, it is an Asian conspiracy, and by proxy, Chinese. I knew it.

I too could be feral, if only I could keep my teeth in.

I'm already grey, but I like the idea of going feral.

I've been wearing the ruggers around my hips, showing a bit of bum crack, driving the old boilers wild, for years now. Combine that with the blundstones, hi-viz shirt, man, how feral is that!.

Watched Castaway last night in which Tom Hanks goes very shaggy and feral over 4 years. "I could look like that," I told The Navigator. "You're getting there," she said.
