Had the Gearbox on my 2010 TDV8 serviced today.
The car has 133k km's and thankfully they reported no issues, and that the oil that was replaced was clean and there was no sludge in the gearbox filter / sump whatsoever.
They also replaced the LR spec plastic gearbox sump over with the metal one which I believe a lot of D3/D4 owners do.

Do you have the part number for the oil quoted?

At dealer prices that is about right. There are plenty of transmission specialists that will service the trans for a lot less. Must use the correct ZF lifeguard 6 fluid in my opinion. Do not accept any 'equivalent ' oil.

I used A and B in Dandenong. Great value/price, and experts with ZF!

That's dealer pricing; you will save money by going to a indie gearbox shop. Just make sure they are reputable and know what they are doing.
