According to the site that somebody gave me on the other thread (thanks for that) my full diameter for the XPCs Ive got now is 30.96 versus the 31.82 with the 235/85s
I have six XPCs and I'd have to replace them all but I'll ponder this having read the advice you've already given me.
What I was wondering is what tyres you Defender people had when you got your vehicles? Mine definitely came with 7.5R16s as I have two of the originals as spares. I have read others say that their Defender has 235/85s.
At the moment I have a speedo reading +6%. I am thinking that if I go the larger tyre it might improve the accuracy (I'm more interested in odometer accuracy than anything else). With the larger diameter would I really notice any difference in performance (bit slower off the mark yet lower revs at cruising)?
cheers
