Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice re RWC and these former rust holes.
I fully intend to have it repaired but would prefer to drive it to the repair shop.
Might look into a mobile welding service too.
Thanks

Permit is an option, not sure what they cost these days.

Think it's about $90 per day.

$31.30 plus insurance per day.

Yes the permit is cheap, the ctp jacks it up a fair bit

The floor panel would be considered superficial - you could silicone it up temporarily. The section on the A pillar would likely be considered structural and need to be fixed for RWC.
Permit is the best option. Take out a proper insurance policy first though.

I couldn't find a price on the insurance.
We're lucky here in Vic.
For a 28 day permit for a passenger car, $72.
$62 for a goods carrying vehicle under 2t.
$84 over 2t.
Inclusive of insurance.

Thanks all.
I think the permit in QLD includes the CTP for the term of the permit from memory.
Looks like I'll need to get it fixed before RWC :(

Yes the permit includes CTP but not TPP or Comp. If you don't already have it insured, it is best to take out a policy before you take out the permit.
