Hey all..
I'm having some issues ( researching here) on bilstein rear shocks for my Salisbury rear 2002... from sellers online there's a model listed B460255 listed by one seller as 1999 to 2001( I'm figuring all td5 sals axles) it has a longer bottom mount than the other models ( I've had issues trying to use a mates older spare bilstein as we had o shave down the bottom bushes to get the bolt up onto the nylon loc
This shock is listed as from standard to 50 mm and with 346 closed 554 open length.
All my research on here says that the part numbers should be b5... or b6.....
Anyone know anything or can offer any advice?
( perhaps old stock?)
Regards mark

For what its worth I just measured some Billies recently removed from my similar Deefer.
Middle of Pin to middle of eye.
417 compressed & 580 extended.
My vehicle has a 2" lift.
I wrote the numbers off the rears. # is a number I cant read.
10#9 B46 0253 HO . Bottom pin is 63mm

Edit: I just found this site with those numbers

It's worth its weight in gold quite frankly.
Is you're lift 2 inch measured ? I'm starting to think someone sold me the wrong springs if yourse sits lower than 2 inches.... :o
Thanks heaps

As I bought the TD5 110 second hand, I'm only going on what the previous owner told me.
I can measure the springs but they are loaded a little bit. I am pretty sure the unloaded length of the front ones are 40cm.
Cheers, David
