I know it's a known and it's boring but I'm waiting for a delayed plane and bored

Few weeks ago driving to Cairns to fly off to Kimberleys place to catch Barra I had an induction pressure reduction failure ... or "whoosh event"

Anyway limped it a couple of hundred to Cairns got my flight caught Barra and came back to Qld. A good mate in Cairns tried to fix it with rescue tape as I had a pair of BAS hoses at home so no point replacing it temporarily. Rescue tape failed in less than a km so I limped her 330km home. Fuel burn on the 2.4 is amazing if you keep boost down below 9psi above atmo!

Anyway too many words

First is the hole on the hairdryer to I/C hose rubbed on steering Uni fault

And next is a compression comparison between aged tired and failed OEM hose and BAS replacement

Picture - thousand words - blah blah blah

Hmm, timely.
I just ordered a set of silicone IC hoses from BAS.
I'll change them out ASAP.

No JC those are simply my hand model hands used for high quality purdy pickchas

Haven't done much on this new fangled fender but I know this .... my old 1/2" bolt twisters will turn to iron oxide at this rate ....

Entire engine bay is 1/4" country with a sprinkle of 3/8th
