Morning All,

My '04 Td5 came with a bluetooth Pharos (brand) GPS plus PDA running a program called Ostia. Not all that flash in urban areas, and useless in the country. Eurovox (local Aust agent) say that's all there is, but spec would indicate that it should handle other software and maps. Have been meaning to e-mail Ozi Explorer, but not got around to it.

Does anyone know more than me about this system?

PS First post on AULRO, so hope I get it right.

oziexplorer isnt moving map street directory stuff.

destinator or tom tom are the two best i have come across in that field.

ozi is great for finding your way around, and recording it so you can do it again or pass the track on to others, if you have good maps.

Incisor,

Thanks for that. I am looking for something that I can use outside the metro areas, including off road.

What are Destinator and Tom Tom, and where will I find them?

Cheers,
Chris

Email stargazer@picknowl.com.au

Pauls his name, he lives in Morphett Vale (I used to but moved to Whyalla 5 months ago)

He runs Ozi and Destinator so give him a message and tell him I put you onto him.

He'd be more than happy to assist in set-up etc..

Cheers
Mike
