View Full Version : Anyone going mooning tonight?

I'm heading over to my mum and dad's place tonight to see what I can do with this super moon.

Their apartment has a 3rd floor balcony with uninterrupted views out to the hills facing just in the right direction, so location is perfect - as long as the weather plays nice...

I have a nasty feeling I'm going clouding rather than mooning....

The old man has been shooting Nikon since the early 60's, but can't hold a DSLR still any more... so he'll enjoy messing around with me whether we get to shoot anything or not.:)

Happy mooning people.....

Just remember because we are down under you will get a perfect shot of the man in the moons butt.

Puts a new perspective to mooning.

Cheers Ean

It's cloudy here but I'm told some of the locals can do a super moon.
I painted a Lunar landscape once. (Without a muse I might add.)

I just went outside and there it was by golly. Big as a dinner plate but too bright to photograph with a crappy phone.

This is your fault Chris... :bat:

Was more super cloud than super Moon.... but I did manage to grab 1 or 2 quick shots through a gap in the clouds..

Nice Dave,

I had too much cloud to have any hope of putting any landscape into it... i just waited for it to peak through a gap and fired
