I'm sure some of our younger members will understand what it means, it sounds important.

It means there are ears everywhere and nothing is private online. I tell students to assume everything is being monitored. Our devices can be remotely controlled without us knowing. For example, I can use LANSchool (look it up) to monitor what is on my students' screens any time they are online, even if we are in different places. That's an official program so imagine what secret programs are doing. For example, the ads we see are determined by others without our knowledge because of the sites we visit. Imagine what spy agencies can do. Nothing is private -privacy is dead.

Big Brother indeed. That is scary, and very annoying.
