Anyone in WA interested in getting set of tilts and sticks? I'm looking at buying a 3/4 set for my 88 from all wheel trim. The prices are pretty good 1 x 88 3/4 frame kit ?233.33 1 x 88 3/4 sand plain sides ?195.83 but the shipping, on account of the size is pretty steep at ?285.50. The cost of 110 frame or bigger/better tilt isn't that much different but check his website for details.

I'm thinking if anyone else wants a set they could ship two sets of sticks and two tilts separately (under $1000 value to keep customs happy) the cost of shipping would be dramatically reduced, although not halved.

For me to buy and ship a full set will cost $1195. To double up ( estimations the shipping cost of the tilts at ?80) will cost about $970 a set, all inclusive, saving about $220.

Needs to be in the Perth region or any savings would just get lost on Australia post.

Let me know if you are interested, I was proposing to get them early in the new year, once I've got my 88 over the pits and registered.... (Tilt money may have to go on repairs, but hopefully not!)

Cheers
Ian

Be aware that GST gets applied on everything next year so unless you can get it delivered this year......

The government will also hit you with import deputy because it is over $1000 threshold .

Thanks...

Didn't know about the GST grab, thats a nice one. Import duty was a consideration, by myself i would be under the import duty $1000, admittedly with 2 that puts us over but if one of us bought the sticks and one the 2 tilts i recon that stays just about on the right side of legal!

I think Gromit is talking about the Gov is talking of wanting to get O/S Co's & Ebay to collect GST for them. Harvey Norman is pushing the barrow.

It looks like it's mid next year and it depends on the supplier's turnover.....
