for the first time in months i got to spend a few hours looking at water, fishing rods, fish and snags...

spent a quiet few hours using my favourite rod over on bribie beside the bridge.

all i got for my efforts was 2 @ foot long largescale saury (grinners) (http://australianmuseum.net.au/largescale-saury-saurida-undosquamis) and a small ray

sorry no pics, didn't take a camera, just me and the tackle..

was a very enjoyable few hours i have to say.

Nice one! I spent a few hours on the jetty fishing tonight. Didn't get much but watched the sun set over the water in a chair with drink in hand.

Dave I had a mate that liked at Wynuum and he took me out onto Moreton bay. I caught some of those Grinners, freaky looking fish for some one that comes from the south we also caught some sort of Flounders with big fangs in their gobs and what of those hairy caterpillar things that ate our baits. What do you guys up there put in the water? toxic chemicals or something to create those creatures/monsters?;)

Just saw this. What a small world! Early last month I booked a night there for Boxing Day as the first stop on this years Northern migration. The reason I picked there was because my friends mum used to say Linga Longa when they were growing up and it seemed like a good omen. See you there Andy. Will shout you a beer!
