Hi all,
I've never been particularly interested in tweaking the Defender to get a bit more power, but now that I'm towing a camper trailer I'm giving it some thought. I'm not after massive performance gains, but a few more beans when taking off and also on inclines would be nice.
I had a chat with the guys at M.R. They do the Bruce Davis remap, and after talking to them a stage 1 BD remap sounded like it would do the trick. But after a bit of searching on here I can see some complaints about the BD remap lacking power in the low rev range.
I'm also seeing a lot of happy TD5inside customers, although if I went this way I'd probably also have to buy a flashable ECU and find someone willing to lend me their Nanocom.
So I'm not entirely sure which way to go. If anyone's had experience with both, I'd appreciate some feedback.
Cheers
Sean
