Hi all, just wondering if td5 's all show the trailer icon blinking when indicating?
Only thing I can think of if it's not supposed to is that I've had a brake controller that I unplugged me stuck in the shed
Cheers mark

Normally only flashes once to show the display is working.
If you have additional lights connected, like indicators in a bull bar, the system sees the extra load & thinks a trailer is connected & flashes the dash light all the time (if that makes sense?). ;):p

Yep total sense, only flashes once , even with b bar , but it is a factory bar

If your bar has 5-10w bulbs in the blinkers it will still work properly, over that it thinks there is a trailer attached and flashes all the time.
On the other hand, small LED trailer lights don't draw enough to set it off.
I'm thinking it runs at the tightest tolerance of anything else on a defender :D

It is interesting .... with the extreme bar it just blinks once as you flick the indicator on, but with a bulb out it will flick on and of with the blinker..
The bars got Arb style blinkers ... I'll accept it in ignorance before even thinking of touching the wiring while it all works lol
( it blinks continuously with a trailer on and / if the trailer lights are working,so I guess that's its point of existence )
