Hey everyone I'm putting the rear jump seats back into my 2012 D90.

Does anyone know how tight I need to torque the bolts?

Seems important to get right? Or just "yep she's tight"?

Tighten up hard enough that the threads start to strip, then back 1/4 turn ;)

Seriously, the torx would be right hand tight with a 3/8 ratchet.
I can't remember if there is nylock nuts in the wheel well, but if there is might be wise to replace them.

In the 2012 Defender manual it states 23 Nm torque for nuts and bolts for front, middle and third row rear seats of a 110. I am assuming the third row seats equate to the 90 rear seats.

I'm just about to reinstall the 2nd row of seats which I took out over 4 years ago when I got the Deafener. I'll just do them up to what I consider to be tight using my past experience as a mechanical fitter. No need to go over board with these bolts, just do them up to a decent amount where they're not going to fall out after a few thousand kays, no need at all for super human effort.
The 3rd row of kiddy seats I flogged off when I got the beast so I don't have to bother with them.
Up for sale after Xmas and one last trip.
