In the market for some canvas seat covers-been looking at the Escape Gear ones which look nice/good quality- anyone here got them? Also seen the britpart "waterproof" covers (not canvas) on ebay which are much cheaper and wondering if they're any good?

I have a set of Melville & Moon covers in the Defender and a set of Escape Gear covers in the (whispers) Land Cruiser. They are both excellent and very similar in quality. I looked at other covers (MSA & Black Duck), but I preferred the finish of the sets I have. Hope it helps!

I fitted Escape Gear covers in my County after seeing them in a customer's Defender. Very happy with the quality and they fit very nicely, look good too.
Cheers, Murray

I also have Melvill and Moon covers in my Heritage 90. I generally try to buy Australian and have MSA covers in my TD5, but M&M seem to be about the only company that have covers for the rear folding seats. They are superb quality.

How do the MSA covers compare to M&M

I have Supafit seat covers in both of ours. They're made in Wleshpool and can do 90 rear seats as well. I don't know how they compare to the other brands as I've netver bought seat covers before but they do the job.
One tip: Don't get black - it gets pretty hot in summer

How do the MSA covers compare to M&M
My TD5 covers are actually Michelle's Sacs, before they became MSA. They are very well built, two colours with well-finished edging and very tight. I had them dry cleaned a few years ago and the original fabric underneath was pristine. The M&M covers are a bit looser but still conform well to the shape and the weave of the canvas is coarser, which to me gives the a more classic appearance - and they are khaki, which I prefer to the MSA black and green. I have had the MSA covers for 10 years (but only 130,000 km) and there is no serious wear. The M&M covers are still essentially new but tests seen on YouTube look pretty convincing.
