I'm looking to replace my damaged front bumper assembly, it's a 2013 D4 HSE
with front parking sensors, one of our local Perth members has kindly offered up a 2011 D4 bumper without sensors, I was wondering if it was easy us drilling holes in the bumper or does it involve some trickery that would turn it a major problem. I want to keep it looking standard and tidy, I was going the bullbar route but I kind of like the standard naked look...
Any advice please and easily do-able or keep looking for the correct bumper.
Many thanks
Jack

My Bro just bought a GOE compressor plate,GOE manual and some other part off a bloke in the Melville area.Says he had a bumper, rear slider setup and scan tool still there(D4).
Maybe worth looking to see if the bumper has the holes for your sensors,my Bro didn't mention the colour.

I have a SE bumper with front sensors, I'm assuming it's the same.

I offered Jack my MY14 bumper,it doesnt have sensors. There doesn't seem to be markings on mine to drill them out either.
He was chasing a white one preferably the same MY with sensors.

Not quite.
His is the pre 8 speed update, our bumpers are moulded different to the headlights, our washers are recessed, theirs arent, our fog lights are different.I would think they are a direct bolt up,would need confirmation from those who have been turning old D4s into new D4s;););););)
His sensors should go into your holes.

Andy are you talking about Jacks MY13 D4? I have an MY13 HSE D4 and it is 8 speed. Jack as you are in W.A. I didn't enter the discussion but I have a D4 HSE bumper bar but without the sensors as I put them onto my bullbar. The number plate holder is missing as I gave it to another member. You can have it if you can figure out how to get it to W.A. that's not cost prohibitive.

Hi Martin,
Yours sounds like the perfect match!
I was hoping for a WA location, but if there are none around in WA,
I will can look into bringing it across the paddock to Perth.
Thank you for the offer and I will see what pans out.

Have you tried ARB or Opp Lock? They might have one hanging around after they've put a roo bar on a car

PM me if you want to take it and we'll work something out.
What goes around comes around.
A member here gave me a free unused tyre he had in the garage and no longer needed after I had clipped a sidewall on a roundabout and caused a split in one of mine. Good enough for a spare as it was a few years old. Boy those OEM sidewalls are soft.
My turn to help. :):):)

Speaking of OEM Tyres I have one of them brand new, I was keeping it as a spare but won't be needing it now that I have 18" rims on the way.
