Recently damaged rear electrical post running to brush muont plate plus insulators on warn winch xdc motor. Wondering if anyone knows were i can get a replacement part or if anyone has burnt out motor with ok 2nd hand part.

...and you are handy enough to disassemble yourself...

Consider taking it to a electrician who specialises in pumps and motors, and they will have no issues soldering / brazing on a new lug / strap or sourcing an insulator. Would work out cheaper than a new motor at $450+ I'd think.

When I rebuilt mine, I noticed it was just a bolt with and insulator and a copper strap with a soldered on copper tab.

Thanks mate for reply all ready have apart was hoping to sorce a new one but seems to be impossible.Is their any reason why your brush carrier is painted as mine is not does this aid with corrosion.Do you think magnum /tabor seco motors are the same as xdc motor or have the same internals .Will repair part if needed.Have added pic of part as attachment

Mine corroded and stopped working. I painted it to prevent damage from water ingress in the future. There is a few more posts on this in my build thread.

Looks like i have found second hand part in south autralia looks in good condition waiting for it to be sent
