Anyone got any experience with one of these - apparently they were in some very early RR or 101 boxes
Recon LT95 Gearbox Limited Slip Differential Unit Range Rover Land Rover 101 (1) | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182357534460?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
Wondering if they would be comparable with an atb like in the LT230

Hi mate if that is an original type then they were discontinued after the first 1.5 years of range rover production iirc due to driveability issues. Could've been shudder or similar problems on turning. If it is anything like the early j**p quadratrac lsd it would de elop a nasty shudder on turning after a long period of highway work.

dont bother...

that I know of it was never fitted to the 101 (although the ad might mean that the lt95 was and therefore you could use this in a 101s lt95)

Landrover are really good at ignoring small problems that dont matter a snot to the drive line The stuff that gets the rubber on the ground and turning however....

If they were good they would have been in use for more than not quite a couple of years.

Remember how they took the CDL out of the D2 and then put it back in again?.....

Thanks JC and Dave, I was hoping it might be OK in the 6X6. With the extra weight over a 4x4 I was thinking it might not shudder under load.
