Hi guys,

The drivers side window on my '08 disco3 has issues going up and down. The cause, as it turns out, is a broken plastic tab that connects the glass to the regulator. Photo of broken tab along with regulator, and an article that shows how the part bolts onto the window.

I've been searching the 'net for this part, and can't find it. The local LR parts guys tell me they come with the window  At $245 for the window I was hoping to find another solution.

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Cheers,
Ben

I don't have my 3D printer yet but someone here may be able to knock one up for you...

TRS in SA wreck heaps of D3/D4s,Sureley they would have them sitting in the shattered glass inside doors.
You could try Westcoast Rover in Kenwick. Its hit and miss what sort of reception you get. They wreck a few Landies, unsure if he does new stuff.

Thanks - I'll try TRS in SA. No luck with Westcoast Rovers. These tabs are just bolted on, so easily salvageable.

The 3D printer idea intrigues me. Not having a part number makes this tab bit hard to search for, so I'd have to design my own [bighmmm]
