Hi all , time has me thinking on upgrading my front driveline , unfortunately Ashcroft etc cv's are way beond my budget
I've got an Ashcroft locker in the front with stock axles and abs cv's.( used with caution and restraint)
I'm thinking of upgrading to maxi axles and was ondering on people's thoughts on cv's
I understand m and r do antiburst rings and can also fit abs rings tho the older county cvs
Any consensus on these options?
Or perhaps fit the maxis and toss a cv in the back?
Ps 2002 sals rear w Detroit
Regards mark

Toss a cv in the back and see how you go for a year. You will either get good at changing c.v's track side and be completely sure you need to upgrade or not.
Aftermarket stuff from the good guys is usually as good as you can get with limitations on size not material being the final decider.
If you break stock stuff, upgrade. If you break that?

To true lol, I've got the cv greased up n ready to go, as I said I'm super cautious with the front locker. Reason I'm thinking on the cvs is I'd like to upgrade the axles and flanges to maxi's and was looking at the options ( iirc the county cv upgrade needs different axles ) just been looking at the Great Basin rover axles cvs they'd be an option to I guess
Frankly I should get of my but and call m and r in qld
