This is the cheapest tdv8 L322 I've ever seen.

It looks in great condition for 358,000km. I wonder if anything major has been replaced.

Yep only a measly 200kw/640nm compared to 230kw/700nm. [emoji1]

That girl is still being advertised and she's down to $24k now (dunno what she was originally).
I saw her when looking, the 359'000 km's really put me (and I'm sure other buyers) off [tonguewink]

I reckon it will sell for around $20k (more if trans and transfer case (TC) had been rebuilt or replaced) just because people get nervous with all the on board tech.. At that many km its served its previous owners well on a very regular basis. So seems quite a reliable unit.

My trans (incl torque converter) and TC has been replaced. So very encouraged by those km when mines at 261k km. The tdv8 is running smoother than ever. Only I'm wondering if 200kw & 640 nM is enough fun. [emoji48]

Anyone have any idea how the 3.6 tdv8 goes at high kilometres like this?

There's very few tdv8s at that mileage. It could go fine for ages. The rate it was being used indicates it was mostly HW km which are pretty easy on a car. However, you need to consider the risk of something major failing eg turbos ($4k), EGRs ($2k), trans & transfer box unless it's been done in the last 150k km ($8k), diffs ($2k). I'd be surprised if nothing major has been replaced.

I like the tow hitch - I hate climbing under to reach the chain mounts on mine; this would be much easier. Is it a Hayman Reece?

Now down to $22,800!
The interior is in good Nic. The seats and foam must have been refurbished.

Per its VIC Plates that was for sale locally in a car yard in Port Melbourne around the start of last year (2016), for about $30k then.
I looked at it and had a short test drive. Sounded like one of the CV joints had gone when turning on full lock, and I decided (gut instinct) to let it pass, as the roadworthy he claimed to be getting done did not show that on the work to be done.
It sold shortly afterwards as I was following it in Carsales, so whoever bought it has barely had it a year before moving it on.

A good car for a brave Land Rover specialist with deep pockets. Cheers
