Daniel at Mulgo Expedition makes nice silk tanks, fairly certain he would customize them to suit.

I can't speak for the Defender for certain but I had a range rover classic with LRA sill tanks and side steps that fitted around them. I don't think your existing steps would fit around them from the photo, but I'm sure it would be easy to get steps made that would.

I have sill tanks fitted to both sides of my '13 90 courtesy of Daniel at Mulgo. Front Runner. I put them in with his help. The right one slotted straight in,the left was a cow. He now gets his own made up. I have the genuine LR side steps fitted and everything fits well without modification.The side steps don't look as good as the tree sliders people use to replace the sills but like you, I like the step and they offer protection for the tanks . Doubt yours would be a problem. you could give him a call.Nice bloke:D

Looks like that will be the way to go.
It's just a bugger as he's in NSW, and I'm near Cairns, so logistics are a bit of an issue.
I'll look into it though as he may be able to do something flash with the plumbing between all three tanks.

Go to his website, 4x4 Land Rover Toyota Nissan Frontrunner Touring Online Store - Expedition Centre Overlander (http://expeditioncentre.com.au) .He has a 'Y' piece that replaces the original filler and another splitter that sits in the wheel well to feed both auxiliary tanks from the original inlet. It takes a bit to get used to filling it as the crossover pipe to the NS tank sits quite level in the 90.Might not be an issue in a 110. I fill the auxiliary tanks slowly until the nozzle clicks,fill the main tank,then go back and finish filling the aux tanks. Still beats jerry cans on the roof.

YEP, AS I travel mostly by myself, I'm over Jerrys as well.
I'm looking at weight and handling efficiencies to my set up now, as I've purchased all the big stuff.

I put the LRA sill tanks in my 110, and I had to replace the side steps with the Terra Firma rock/tree sliders. I'd recommend some non slip safety grip over the outer rail, otherwise it will be a very slippery step. The grip I bought has lasted well in the weather, but it was super harsh, so after scraping my leg and bleeding a couple of times on the first day, I got a piece of metal and rubbed the super sharp grit down a bit.

G'day fellas.
Does anyone know if you can run the LRA accessory sill fuel tanks (left & right) to suit my 110, and still be able to run side steps or tree sliders?
I want to fit these for my extended diesel supply instead of using roof mounted jerry cans (due to my recent Bundutop RTT purchase) but don't want to loose the use of my alloy running boards.
Thanks for any real world experience with these fitted.

I have the same alloy running boards which works with brown devis Off side sill tank. Near side tanks would be smaller capacity due to deeper battery box etc.

LRA replied to me re price and seems that TJM Cairns retail them. I might pop into TJM and see what they say about fitment vs fouling and any mods that could be made to make them all play nicely together.
I'll post back here any findings. Might be a while as I still can't drive for about a month or more.
