Just wondering if anyone could recommend a auto electrician around North Brisbane to fit some accessories to a 2016 D4

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new D4 purchase!
I can't help with your query but if you're in the market for DBS then you can't do better than one of Tims (drivesafe on here) Traxide setups.
I'm sure someone will be along to give you some advice on a good sparky.

Welcome aboard.
BE VERY CAREFULL WHO YOU LET TOUCH IT!!!!!
They are very different than lesser vehicles, quite a few have run into trouble with auto sparkies who thought they knew what they were doing.
Electric trailer brake controlers are wired different.DC to DC chargers not recommended and any dual battery system MUST be wired thru the cab.The reason being its common to have body off repairs to these vehicles. Its a big problem if your dual battery system is wired to or thru the chassis;);););););)
As mentioned Traxide Tim has brilliant gear, all custom made for our vehicles.
List your wish list,I'm sure you will find we all have them fitted.Im sure a "local" will name a D4 friendly sparky.
ENJOY

I'd consider doing the Traxide DBS system yourself. It's so easy as long as you can set aside a half day to take your time on it, it's really not worth paying an auto sparky $200 for a job you can do just as neatly yourself. If you want some extra junctions wired into the loom for lights or similar Tim will modify it for you too so you will literally just be running wires. I think the hardest part was collecting up all those metal door sill clips i'd dropped into the gap...

I agree with Russ about Traxide. The one diy kit will give you dual battery, extra 12V socket and other junctions if you request them. The diy instructions are excellent and there's plenty of experience on this forum. I live in Brisbane but can't recommend an auto elec because I've done everything myself from a low base level of experience.

Or you could ring MR Auto,LR indie specialists.
They are in Redcliffe, and use a local guy,but i don't know who it is.
