Hi folks! Just wondering if anyone on here knows of an Aussie supplier of aftermarket abs sensors?
The daughters LC100 has had an unfortunate encounter with a so-called mechanic who managed to stuff up a wheel bearing replacement. He had to replace one of the new bearings he fitted, because it was too tight, and buggered the bearing within 50 klms, resulting in grease everywhere. Claims he cleaned everything up, but the abs light has been on ever since. I checked the sensors, and the one in question has a lot of movement in the wires where they enter the sensor itself.
I'm going to pull the sensor out this arvo and check it out. A quick google found only second hand ones available, or brand new oem stock, even dearer than dealer prices ($344)

Anyone know of suppliers in Aus?

Look up Don Kyatt spares. They do a lot of Toyota parts.
I got 14mm Toyota wheel studs for my camper trailer, less than $3.00ea compared to $12ea from the Tojo dealers.
GOODLUCK
