Tyre Rubbing on my 110

Hi Guys, I am brand new to the Land rover community and have just bought a 2004 Td5 110 with 285/75 Coopers and I have got a lot of rubbing when on full lock. I think it is possibly rubbing on the chassis but I am not certain. I can't tell if it is serious but it is inconvenient when trying to park and U-Turn.
I am hoping to see if anyone has had a similar problem and find some solutions.
Any help will be appreciated

Rubbing on the front arms. Adjust the steering stop bolts a little will fix it

Larger than standard tyres can rub on the chassis on full lock if you do not adjust the limit stops to stop this happening. You will see the rub marks on the chassis.

It isn't unusual and not really a worry if you are careful in the use of the lock available - back off the amount of steering turn when you hear or feel it.

Some people replace the wheels with others having a different offset.

The front is an easy fix as Tombie has said , watch out for the rear the 265x75x16 that I brought rubbed the top of the rear spring tower . It only happens when full articulation . So it wears the inside of the tyre wall . The thing is you can't see the wear . I ended up having to buy 20mm offset rims . I wasn't to happy . I must admit once I changed tyres over and got set up I was really pleased . Plus improves your turning circle , as they don't rub front radios bars !!..Jim

As Jim and tombie said, the solution is either turning circle of an aircraft carrier or different offset wheels. With 285/75 (33in) your either looking at 0 or negative 25mm offset as the standard positive 33mm wheels will rub front and also on the back spring mounts in full cross axle off road. Go the -25mm with wheel arch extension if you want to ever go bigger tyres like 315(35in), with 285's on zero offsets you may still need the arches as when I had 255/85 on zero they where virtually level with the edge of the standard rubber arches.
