At least once you get them out they are not coded and don't need programming. ;)

hope for the best before investing, they are easy enough to get to, so pull them as you normaly would and hope they arent too hard...if they are, then get the tool

I had a td4 m47 with stuck injectors. Same engine as a td6 m57 but a 4 cylinder. One of the injectors broke at the cap for the nozzle while trying to remove it. Sent the head to a few places and they couldn't remove it. Had to replace the head. They can be a bugger to remove. I have heard soaking for a few days with vinegar works but have not tried it.

I had one very stuck in mine - 5 came out easily, 1 wouldn't budge. I borrowed a puller from the local Diesel Pump place - it was a home made one made from the top of an old injector. I stuck this on my slide hammer and it still took an hour of pounding - over an entire day as it is very hard work - to get it to move. Thought it would have stuffed the injector but it worked good as new when I reinstalled them all. A leak on the copper washer is what had caused it to seize - just clogged up with soot, but boy was it stuck...

So did the rest just come out by undoing the retaining clip, disconnection of the pipe and a wiggle? / Lever them out?

Yes, the other 5 came out easy.:). If they had all of been like that I would have probably given up. :D
