I had an unauthorised attempt to access my account so changed my password via my PC.
Now my phone won't download email on that account because obviously it "knows" the old password.

I can't for the life of me find where to change the actual settings to tell it the correct password to use.

Anyone?

Swipe from the top of the screen down and click on the cog icon at the right of the toolbar at the top to open settings.

Scroll down through the settings until you come to Applications, select email.

I think thats where you can enter your password (I don't have email setup on my phone, so it wants me to create an account...).

Nope that has all the settings for server etc OTHER than any password settings.

There are several other different ways of getting to email settings too, but they all end up in this same place.....

Hi,
Do you have a web access to your email via a browser?
Can you change it back to the known password , access it via Android, and change it there?

If you are not downloading email via POP (Post Office Protocol), the all your email is on the mail server, not on your tablet, so you can set up a new account to access it.

Cheers
