Has anyone else taken a look at the recently launched photo sharing site "Clickasnap"?

It's an interesting concept, hoping to rival the likes of Flickr one day.... it offered the opportunity to sell images through it, with a very reasonable return to the photographer and uniquely also offers to pay photographers on a pay per view basis!

It still very new and a bit buggy, but if they can make it work looks it could be very interesting.

I've thrown a few images up there o a free account (Username: byMark). just to see how it all works... not sure I am going to retire on any income.... (Current total estimated income after 24 hours ...... A$0.03 :p )...but who knows where these things could lead. :D

Check it out and let me know what you think....

One negative so far... it doesnt see to have a simple way to share an image to a site like this.....

Facebook, Twitter, Google and Pintrest are catered for... but unless I am just being dumb (which is more than likely) I don't see a simple way to link a photo to here...

I think it's just old school,

There: Right-click \ Copy image address

Here: Insert image (https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/editor/insertimage.gif) \ Paste address into prompt.

tada.

well bugger me!.....

I tried right clicking the first image i tried and got no right click menu, so assumed that had blocked it... maybe I'd had 1 or 2 too many seasonal ales.. [bighmmm]

Thanks Andrew ;)

Edit:... What Browser are you using Andrew?

Right click is still not working for me on chrome, firefox, opera, IE11 or edge!.... I just get zoom in out function if i right click - but only on this Clickasnap

I can find the image link by showing page source and going hunting... but that's a pain in the butt....

Time to hunt through some settings I think.

I suspect you have a plug-in connected to your browser that allows it...

I found one that works ;) "Allow Copy 0.1.3"

Cheers,

Heh, I didn't consider that would be a problem.

I'm just using Chrome with 'uBlock Origin' adblocker which I suspect might be helping.
