Does anyone know if the Disco S1 overhead map pockets (The ones above the visor) will fit a rangie?

Has anyone mounted a radio of any sort up there?

As for the map pockets, while they are usefull for touring and highway travel as soon as you start doing any climbs most things fall out and end up in your lap unless they are jammed in tight up there

Spot on - they are bugger all use - you could fit in one of the slim line UHF radios though.

Yes, it amazes me as well. LR must have spent squillions on road testing all over the globe & they can't pick up a stupid idea as this.

Maybe they didn't reckon on us driving up mountains or any slope over 30o.

The other one that really ****es me off is the Cup Holder that seems to fly out in the way of your hands when attempting to use H,L & DL. Why LR couldn't have put a small patch of velcro on it somewhere or a button strap beggars belief.

Makes one ponder what the "Test Drivers" did with their time. Certainly not looking for problems. Maybe they never put anything in them to test & put a strip of Tank Tape over the Cup Holder..

I dont have any problems with my cup holders except for the fact that they dont take much in the size of cups or bottles that you buy, cans are ok but the stupid things are so shallow that if they are over 1/2 full they bloody well fall out off road

Gunna get me some of them US D2 ones that go on the console
