oxy set for $130 at total tools...

i'm sure the disposable bottles aren't cheap .... but ... $130 bucks :confused:

I saw a similar kit, but a bit more expensive, at Autobarn. The replaceable cylinders were at least $30 ea from memory, probably much more. I figured if you were stuck somewhere it would be a handy thing to have, but you are right, the cylinders aren't too big. If you took it on a trip, bring some spare bottles and it would be a great little unit.

I bought one from SCA on special, good for silver soldering brazing small parts, thats about it. (jewellery / Model making) Not a patch of a proper oxy set . A full o2 bottle weighs the same as an empty one .

Forget about cutting anything, empty the o2 bottle in about 30 seconds flat .
get a Plasma cutter.

It wont work with LP Gas as the fuel, has to be MAP.

For trying to loosen rusted / stuck parts or bolts get some Loctite Freeze & Release . Works better than a combination heat / cooling/ WD40
