Hi, was looking at this below winch on Ebay does any one have any experience with them and will they fit a TJM steel bar?

NOTE:
No winch should be run continuously. To safeguard your winch when using it to pull your vehicle from either dry bogs or wet bogs you should run it for 10 or 15 seconds at a time. As long as you have a winch bar there should not be a problem, as for the quality of that particular winch, no idea

That's one of the reasons I prefer the hydraulic winch, they can run continuously. I assisted someone who had an electric winch to retrieve a Toyota with a collapsed suspension from a track out of a gully, took us 3 hours to get him 30 metres..........all the winch would do was overheat after a few seconds and we had to wait for it to cool down.
Having said that I have also been involved in lenty of winch recoveries that weren't so difficult and the electrics handled them OK
