Hi all
Thinking of fitting a VGT turbo from allisport to my 1995 300tdi defender. And was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with these types of turbo's since a few of you would have had them on for quite a while now and done a fair few km's with them.
Thanks

Also looking at the same thing at the moment. My understanding is that there are two types of VNT/ VGT? (Not sure which is correct).
One is fitted with a different manifold and all the plumbing needs to be changed around.
The other type fits on the standard manifold 'horns'.
Not sure what the difference is in performance between the two?

No difference in the turbo , 300tdi has the turbo exhaust housing cast in the manifold which is a 3 piece unit.
Some kits use a full replacement manifold and separate turbo.
