a film company from the UK has contacted the LROC looking for a dark green, defender 90 with a removable soft top (so that nothing apart from the windscreen protrudes above the dash). parts of this production have been filmed elsewhere in the world with a locally sourced vehicle of this type.
if you have one or know of anyone with this type of vehicle, can they email me or PM me and we can put you intouch with the producers.

get your hackles down, I am not looking for anything. i am just passing on a request. the filming will be on fraser island and we have been informed that the D90's involvement will be with the star sitting in it and driving along next to lakes and creeks. the owner of the car gets put up in a hotel for the duration of the filming (2 weeks) and will be able to supervise the whole deal and get paid for it. references are available from the owners of the other 2 that they have used.
they have contacted us for help and have also probably contacted the other land rover clubs in australia as well.

There's a film grip in Sydney Called Martin who drives a jet black soft top 90.
I'll try to find his name.

Maybe Discowhite should by a green one, take the roof off and fit a soft top. Hey for an all expenses paid trip to fraser, plus getting paid for it i'd do it. Matt

And wizecracks aren't a new form of humor.
Temporary paint my hilarious friend.
Nice guy Martin. Has a 6x6 chasis apparently.
I don't know if his name is Fabio, I bailed him up in the street in Sydney and we chatted about his 90!

Heya Barney... is this for the same company as the topic that p38arover posted above?
I've spoken to SteveT who posted the original request looking for one on the weekend and he has it sorted and they now have the vehicle...
if not the same company... then good luck https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
