I have just finished installing an 11 litre air reservoir tank to my yellow beastie. Its bolted up under the left hand side to the battery box floor.
A Blue tongue pump feeds to the gauge and pressure switch tee'ed to the tank inlet.
The outlet goes to a Jamec quick disconnect fitting mounted alongside the gauge and power isolation switch. The switch and outlet are located by the passenger seat rail, with the gauge on the vertical door side of the battery box. A drain valve is fitted to the tank to dump water. My pump lives in the battery box.

Pics to come later if anyone is interested.
Tank is from Opposite Lock. (Firestone air suspension component).

Yes, to keep the tyres in good shape both at home and on the road. The nearest servo is 12 klms away. (we live on a property 25 klms out of Toowoomba)

I also wanted the capacity to drive a duster gun for cleaning filters etc.

I'll take the pics and post tomorrow evening.

Blue Tongue Pump and Pressure Switch in Battery Box. (Pump is actually screwed down!). Thinking of fitting a "Twin Tongue" in here.

Looks good! If I mounted the tank there though it would be gone by now

Great job, very neat....

On a side note, where did you get the seat rail spacers?

Cheers
Mike

The tank is actually quite high up, not indestructable though.

Seat Rails? Made them in the home workshop.

hmmm not a bad idea, though I think I'd mount mine inside the back of the 110 somewhere...

Don't like the idea of it outside in case it gets punctured....

... but on the other hand, don't like the idea of it in the inside in case it gets punctured!

Nice job Trev .. just a question .. what are you going to do with the second battery when that time comes?

84RR, I currently have it at 60 psi.

Greylandy, I can move the air compressor, or fit a second battery in the rear under my deck. The caravan has a house battery, so I really do not need one at present.
