Hi Guys
I posted this on REMLR but though there might be other opinions here.
I have just replaced the canopy on my GS 4x4 with a nice new Robco one (with PVC windows). Its all fitted nicely though the windows add a bit of bulk when rolling up the sides. Its great to have a clear back window that doesn't let the dust in though. Now I want to remount the roof rack.
My old canopy just had holes cut in the reinforced areas to take the mounting bolts into the ROPS but I wondered whether grommets might be better to avoid rips in the canopy. Is there any reason not to punch in grommets.
The only thing I could imagine is that they might interfere with the water seal of the rubber mounts.
Any advice would be welcomed.
