Hello all.
About two years ago I fitted a 42 litre Front Runner water tank to the NSR inner guard. I plumbed it in as per the instructions but was never very happy with filling the water tank from inside the car.
So today I decided to fit an external RV water filler.
Drilling the hole in the panel was stressful. Measured, made templates. Checked and double checked then took the plunge.
So humming Slades 'in for a penny, in for a pound' I drilled the hole.
I think the end result is ok. I have no idea why the photo is upside down!

I admire the commitment 👍
I fill up through the outlet putting a hose on the inlet which is fitted with a retic tap. It swivels out of the way.

I like this why too. I still fill with a hose connected to the tap and wait for it to over flow though the filler. Before I had to watch the water rise in the inlet tube a kink the hose to stop flow, then turn the tape off. Your way is much better. I also like that you filter yours. Something I hadn't thought of.

Thanks for posting this. Can you show us how you plumbed the filler hose into the tank. I am also curious if are you happy with the 25mm hose or do you find it too restrictive for filling the tank up quickly?

The plumbing is under the rear speaker in a side locker I made. I'll remove the speaker and take a photo tomorrow.
i havent noticed iced to much of a problem fill with a hose in the filler. But to be honest I still tend to connect the hose to the tap at the rear and fill until water runs out the filler.
