80in new front springs and transfer oil level.

I Decided after my 80 sitting in the shed for three years with a busted front spring, that I would get it sorted and try my luck with rego.. reco springs thanks to Rick, new bushes and it's riding a little high but should settle down. After checking all the fluids for the run into rego tomorrow, I can't find any level plug for the transfer case. It has a top fill and a drain but no level plug around the back of the case as in other boxes..any ideas or is it measure 2.5litres and pump it in from the top?

Some of the early transfer cases had the level plug on the right hand side ,hidden by the hand brake linkage. In fact the plug used to interfere with the linkage.

Thanks, to be honest I didn't even think to look there.. I top filled it with measured out oil.
