Hi all,
has anyone fitted a Milford cargo barrier to an early 93 SE? The Milford website suggests they cant be fitted after 08/92. If its not possible does anyone know why, is it to do with the cargo shelf or spare wheel position?
thanks in advance

I believe it has something to do with the angle of the rear seat squab.
It changed angle slightly around that time so the earlier barrier might not fit correctly.

Gaz,
I have a 93 LSE, same as SE from seats back. The half height cargo barrier in mine is ex my old 85 model. Just needed changes to the bottom mounting point. This area differs from earlier cars but brackets can be made. Mine is a piece of flat steel about 2.5x5 inches, countersunk screw/bolt holes, an one large hole for the seat release. Right behind is a piece of 1inch angle about 3 inches ling with a nut welded behind. One bolt either side secures base. You wanna foto?
Top is a piece of 3/4 flat strap, one end bolts (or clamps in my case) near to top of frame, other end behind seatbelt real at very rear of car.
Hope that helps. I also know my car had a full height version prior to my ownership as the retaining holes and bolts are in floor base and wheel arches.. I think Milford need to update their records...the cars are the same...
