G'day.

Anyone know what model scorcher dizzy would fit my 3.5 V81 to replace the
lucas trouble maker.

Thanks.

I can take a peak at the one in my 101 when it cools down, the previous owner fitted one and I've never touched it, and it works great, but they are expensive. I do keep a spare reluctor coil for it as that's of only 3 electrical items in the whole vehicle that could stop it. I also carry a spare coil and a spare fuel pump, so that's everything I need. :)

Got to lift the engine cover, so a bit of faffing about.

Thanks.
I just fitted a new fuel pump.
If I can get a scorcher for it I might also carry the lucas dizzy and coil as a spare.

why don't you just ring performance ignitions in Nunawading Vic, the makers of the scorcher and get it direct from the horses mouth, they make them up to suit.

Yes I will do that before long but I thought I might get some info first from
people using them.

When I dealt with them, they didn't have model numbers, the built them up to suit.
