I have been using the 50mm and 75mm Roloc sanding discs lately and have been going through a few of them. Where I have been getting them through (have tried a few different suppliers) and they all like to charge $2.70 or more for a disc.
Does anyone know of a good Australian supplier that can supply them for a reasonable price?
I tend to avoid e-bay and would rather deal with a business directly.

Have you tried 3m discs? They are pretty good and last longer than some of the cheaper ones. I actually buy mine from the Snapon Tools van driver in my area. About $2.50 ea from memory. Last time i bought a box of 'em.

No have not tried the 3M ones. I may have to go and see what the local automotive paint store has.
I had some mini flab discs which worked well.

Rolocs have it all over flap discs. I got a couple of boxes of them years ago from a panel beater gone broke.
No way would they be anything near $2 each in a box.

I'm confused. I thought Roloc was a 3M trademark, so Roloc == 3M.
Agree they are good gear. Used them extensively for aircraft work back in the 90's when I was still on the tools. Still have a few in the shed. They need to be run at a decent speed to work their best though.

That's correct Steve.
The ones I have are 3M, there are imitations around that don't interchange with the backing disc.
I run mine with fabbed fitting on a 4" Makita grinder. Very handy combo.
