Decided that the 14 year old keys were not quite up with the rest of the vehicle, so earlier in the week decided to try and replace the silicon buttons ... Before and After pics attached ... (no extra comments ... that I should have cleaned the key too ... the buttons can now be read!)
Found an eBay seller in Australia on Tuesday morning, they were in my post box today, fitted today. Comprehensive fitting instructions and advice included.
I have no affiliation with this vendor except as a happy customer, so here is a link for anyone else who wants to repair their key buttons: fits Range Rover L322 LX8 Remote Key fob - 1 Silicone key Button Repair Pad | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/fits-Range-Rover-L322-LX8-Remote-Key-fob-1-Silicone-key-Button-Repair-Pad-/192085207727?hash=item2cb92baaaf:g:k68AAOSwtPZXHYs ~&vxp=mtr)
