TD5 airflow demand

Hi gurus,...... I've seached AULRO and the web and cannot find a definitive answer to my question - I've been wondering if anyone can tell me what would be the CFM airflow demand of a TD5/GT20 Turbo under load at 3000rpm - I have a Discovery II.

Why? I'm researching the feasability of installing an airfilter restriction indicator...

I wouldn't get too technical on this matey you can buy air filter restriction switches at any auto electric or just a screw in fitting with spring set gauge. They just run off the vacuum that is produced when your filter is restricted. We use them in big rigs and large diesel engines. Just put a light on the dash next to your compressor or front and rear diff locks. Maybe above the rear fog light. Just kidding. But really I've never seen an air filter in a passenger car that would be that clogged to need it. Even mine vehicles. As long as you service them properly of course.

Thanks for your thoughts which i don't disagree with - my son is a heavy vehicle technician and from him i know what range restriction indicators a Cummins, CAT, Daf, or Scania etc use however my question was only to assist in targeting which indicator range from those available i should start working with. Anyway i have three spring set ones on the way to me to play with a 20" a 25" and a 30" and after determining the most suitable range will install the electric switch version. BTW over the period of time i have had my D2 i have had a seriously clogged filter on 2 occasions from loss of, or damage to the vacuator valve (which is situated in the front left wheel well and quite vulnerable) in turn allowing the lower part of the airbox to flood with soupy mud and the other time with handfuls of bulldust and light sand.
