Started pulling my '55 S1 apart today and when I got to the clutch and brake pedals I found them to be very sad. Are these available and if so where from, or do you guys turn your own up?

I did have a 1954 S1 but I cannot remember if it needed new pedal bushes or how the pedals were fitted.
If they are plain bronze imperial bushes you need then any bearing service should get them for you or look on EBAY.

I bought mine from the UK but can't remember where - Google the pt no.
When they are installed they will probably need reaming; I used an adjustable reamer,

Hello from Madura.
Craddocks (UK) stock the bushes for Series 2 & 3. It might be worth your while to check their site and see if they do Series 1 as well. Dunsfold (UK) also stock a good many of the older and harder to get parts.
Otherwise, the suggestion of checking a local bearing specialist service seems sensible.
Cheers,
Neil
