Hi

I've noticed there is a creaking noise coming from the front end when I turn corners, however if I turn left twice in a row it will only make the noise the first time and I won't hear it again until I turn right as if the weight of the vehicle needs to shift to make the noise.

It not a clunking or loud noise but more of a subtle creak, slightly annoying but I can easily live with it so long as it's not doing damage.

I've been reading the posts on control arms and bushes but from what others are saying they are louder noises?!

I have recently done my LCA rear bushes which eliminated most of the creaks and cracks (and fixed handling issues) but I still have a similar creak. I'm suspecting sway bar bushes. So in the next little bit I'm going to change them and see how I go.

I recently had the 2 bushes that support the front lateral section of the front sway bar and got alot of creaking afterwards. Today I got them to put some rubber grease into those bushes as the creak had turned into a clunk.

Sounds like yours is somewhere in the sway bar area too....
